Controller to join a family-feel company in Victor, New York. This
pivotal role involves overseeing financial operations, accounting
practices, and human resources to drive organizational growth and
efficiency. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in
financial management to optimize processes, ensure compliance, and
contribute to strategic planning initiatives. Responsibilities: •
Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to
support organizational goals. • Oversee cost accounting and
inventory controls to maintain accuracy and efficiency. • Manage
month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial
reporting. • Utilize Syteline ERP and other tools to streamline
financial operations. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and
analyses for leadership review. • Collaborate with the Leadership
Team to align financial plans with business objectives. • Ensure
compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Direct
human resources operations, including payroll and benefits
administration. • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and
improved operational efficiency. • Support potential mergers and
acquisitions initiatives within the next 3-5 years. • Minimum of
five years of experience in financial management, preferably within
a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of accounting
principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting. • Proficiency
in using Syteline ERP or similar enterprise resource planning
systems. • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage complex financial processes and deliver
accurate results. • Knowledge of inventory controls and month-end
closing procedures. • Excellent communication and leadership
skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
field is required.
