In Q1, 2025 our first five legal entities went live in SAP, the remaining entities went live in Q1, 2026. Implementing and sustaining a new ERP impacts the entire company The project team is built around the Global Process Workflows as outlined below: Record to Report Order to Cash Source to Pay Plan to Produce Inventory to Deliver Forecast to Plan Enterprise Asset Management SAP Source to Pay Business Process Lead – Source to Pay (STP) Workstream Overview: We are on a procurement transformation journey — advancing our Source to Pay (S2P) maturity and expanding our global Ariba/SAP implementation. As the S2P System & Process Lead for contracting to purchase orders, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring that Ariba interactions are optimized, processes are streamlined, and best-in-class practices are embedded across our organization. This is a hands-on, change-driving position designed for someone eager to shape the next phase of our global procurement evolution. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Transformational: Lead the design enhancements, configuration requirements, and deployment of all enhancements within the Ariba/SAP modules and functionalities within the STP workstream, including supplier onboarding, contracting, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase order management solutions. Lead all aspects of defining and implementing the Target Operation Model (TOM), Process (flows, role definition), and Governance. Lead and continuously improve Source-to-Pay (STP) processes within the Ariba platform, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency. Partnering with Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Legal and Accounts Payable to identify and resolve process gaps, driving automation and standardization globally. Establish and monitor key P2P metrics at the process level and deliver actional plans to achieve performance targets. Collaborating closely with Procurement Operations who operation the process. Drive Ariba S2P rollout across new regions and teams, ensuring seamless adoption and compliance Work with Organization Change Management on educating users, building alignment, recommend best practices and fostering continuous improvement across global teams. Process Optimization: Drive process improvements in contracting, purchase requisitioning, category management, purchase order management and reporting within Ariba. Optimize contracts to purchase order processes, including streamlining process to ensure adoption of automated system. Enhance GSPs capabilities through Ariba/SAP solutions, enabling robust performance reporting. Leadership and Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., SAP technical consultants, integration specialists, and business users) to deliver STP solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for STP-related inquiries, providing guidance to stakeholders and resolving complex issues (contracting to purchase order management. Facilitate workshops, Cross Functional Collaboration, training sessions, and change management activities to ensure user adoption and process alignment. System Integration and Data Management: Ensure seamless integration of SAP Ariba modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, or boundary applications when necessary). Collaborate with Master Data Governance, master data management, and data quality initiatives for STP processes. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls (e.g., SOX) within SAP/Ariba configurations. Support the development of financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet stakeholder needs in GSP. Support implementation process of contract compliance globally. Project Management: Manage STP workstream deliverables, timelines, and budgets within SAP implementation or enhancement projects. Collaborate with project managers to align STP activities with overall program objectives. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, CPA, CMA) are a plus. Experience: 7 years of experience as an SAP Source to Pay Business Process Lead with at least 5 years in a lead or senior role focused on STP processes. Technical Skills: Proven expertise in SAP S/4 Hana, Downstream SAP Ariba (Guided buying, Buying and Invoicing, compliance contracts, business network and catalogs) Experience within upstream SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracting, Supplier Lifecycle) Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities. Exemplifies professionalism and emotional intelligence, ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication and the ability to navigate complex situations with tact and maturity. Preferred: Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or upgrades is a must. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies. Knowledge of advanced analytics or AI-driven financial tools is a plus. Work Style: Ideally, we'd like someone who can come onsite to our Novato, CA campus 2-3 times/week.
