Job Description Job Description Job Title: Metrology Technician Santa Rosa, CA Job Description As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing precise measurements and calibrations to ensure equipment meets necessary standards and specifications. Responsibilities Perform precise measurements using metrology tools and equipment. Calibrate, maintain, and repair metrology equipment and tools. Document and report all measurement, calibration, and test results. Identify and solve problems affecting measurement accuracy. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify measurement requirements. Develop and maintain calibration processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures. Train staff on the use of metrology equipment and procedures. Essential Skills Strong understanding of metrology principles. Excellent problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving ability. Team player and detail-oriented. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2 to 4 years of experience in relevant fields such as metrology, machine operation, data entry, or quality control. Proficiency in data entry and Excel. Knowledge of calibration and computer skills. Ability to lift 20 lbs. Strong attention to detail, especially during machine operation. Leadership experience is beneficial. Craftsmanship or artistic skills are advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is an open lab where team collaboration is key. Employees must wear closed-toed shoes and gloves when working with products. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
