an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation ***Join our premier nursing

ability to thrive.Position Summary:Responsible for the daily
operations of the rehabilitation department, including supervision
of therapy staff, ensuring patient/resident satisfaction, and
evaluating/implementing new programs to meet the needs of the
facility and its patients.Qualifications:
- Current OT, PT, or SLP license as required in California
- Minimum of 2 years' direct patient care experience; management
experience preferred
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently to solve
problems
- Knowledge of all regulations governing the department
- Positive management style with the ability to adapt
communication to different individuals
- Patience, professionalism, and ability to remain calm in
stressful situations
- Effective at managing and motivating patients and

Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, develop, assign, and manage therapy staff and
assistants
- Provide direct patient care onsite and coordinate with
patients, families, and support departments
- Monitor clinical service standards to ensure positive patient
experiences and regulatory compliance
- Ensure quality improvement, care planning, clinical
utilization, and patient identification are performed appropriately
and timely
- Develop and implement programs suitable for the patient
population
- Stay updated on all regulations and continuing education
