This and other physician jobs brought to you by DocCafe.com TeamHealth is actively interviewing hospitalists to join the team on a per diem basis at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, California. Join a well-established program with little turnover and a manageable census. Our physicians work 10-hour shifts per day and see approx 14-17 patients per day. Shifts are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., admitting shift is 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and night shift is 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. The EMR is EPIC and the majority of patients seen are mid to high acuity. Candidates must be comfortable rounding and admitting to the ICU, as the ICU is closed from 11-6 pm, but open for 17 hours of the day. Telemed bedside ICU docs are available and no procedures required as ER can usually help with central lines and intubations. This opportunity is available to practicing or new graduates. Candidates must be board certified unless provider just finished residency. Just a short 30 minutes from either San Francisco or Napa Valley, Vallejo is the ideal location for anyone who wants to be in the Bay Area.
