North Bay Eye Associates is seeking an Optometrist. An outstanding opportunity has emerged with a premier, well established eye care practice, located in the heart of Northern California's picturesque wine country, for a full-time Optometrist who thrives on being busy and building strong doctor-patient relationships. Our 6 MD, 3 OD practice provides comprehensive care for a large patient base in our 4 clinic locations within Sonoma County, CA. Our practice includes an ambulatory surgery center, clinical research facility, and optical dispensaries. In this role, the optometrist performs comprehensive eye exams, documents medical history in EHR, diagnoses and assists in the treatment of ocular diseases, prescribes corrective lenses, while working collaboratively with all providers and staff. The optometrist works with standard ophthalmic equipment, including retinoscopy, subjective refraction, lensometry, visual fields, mobility and pupil testing, slit lamp examination, direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy, gonioscopy, fundus contact lens, tear function testing, Amsler grid, confrontational fields, etc. This is a full time position which may work in 2 to 4 of our clinics within Sonoma County. Specific Position Requirements: Current California licensure to practice optometry Completed optometry residency and are board certified, or board eligible Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Demonstrated ability to build strong doctor-patient relationships A reliable work history Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel, from time to time, between our various offices located in Sonoma County.
