Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology,
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who
do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
healthcare facility in Vallejo, CA is offering a contract
opportunity for experienced Radiotherapy Technologists to support
its Radiation Oncology department. This assignment provides an
excellent chance to enhance your clinical skills in a dynamic
setting while working a consistent day shift schedule. Position
Highlights: 13-week contract with a Monday through Friday day shift
(5 x 8 hours) Start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM Up to 36 hours
of on-call availability required (at no cost to the facility)
Immediate start preferred, with start dates more than two weeks
past the requested date subject to decline Key Responsibilities:
Accurately set up and align patients using advanced imaging
techniques for prescribed radiation therapy treatments Assess
patient status during direct interactions and make appropriate
referrals to the healthcare team Prepare treatment delivery,
including comprehensive chart and film checks, equipment room
setup, calculations, and thorough review of electronic medical
records (MOSAIQ) Perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation
therapy treatment planning as needed Collaborate closely with
radiation therapists and multidisciplinary team members to
accomplish various related tasks Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years
experience in Radiation Oncology Valid ARRT and California RTT
licenses Current BLS certification Proficiency or experience with
Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ highly preferred Vallejo, CA,
situated in the northern Bay Area, offers a rich cultural
