Job Description:

Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will specialize in treating and rehabilitating patients with injuries related to sports and athletics, ensuring optimal recovery and enhancement of their performance. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing therapy programs tailored to meet individual patient needs, focusing on improving their ability to perform daily activities and reach their specific athletic goals. Evaluate patients’ functional status and physical capabilities through assessments and standardized tests Develop personalized intervention plans to address deficits and enhance performance Implement therapeutic processes focusing on manual therapy, adapted equipment, and therapeutic exercises Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing management strategies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary Participate in continuous education to learn new techniques and approaches specific to sports rehabilitation Proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning Familiarity with sports injuries and appropriate therapeutic techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members Ability to teach and motivate patients during the rehabilitation process Capacity to handle the physical demands of providing therapy, including the manipulation of equipment and assisting patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Preferably certified in Sports Physical Therapy (SPTS) or an equivalent
