CT Tech Location: Antioch, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,215 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid and Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute care facility preferred License: Valid State License required Certifications: ARRT - Radiography ARRT - CT CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist IV Certification BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire Must-Have: Proficiency in computerized systems Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors Description: This position will work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The CT Technologist coordinates and produces quality computerized tomography (CT) studies. The technologist assists in CT guided procedures. Critical thinking skills and knowledge of radiation safety are required. The technologist is responsible for the safe operation of imaging and ancillary equipment. Quality CT procedures must be produced consistently. Accurate documentation and image transmission/storage are required. Professional communication is essential. Knowledge of age-appropriate criteria is necessary when working with all patients. High risk and critically ill patients may be included in the population served. Charge capture and documentation must be accurate. Responsibilities include performing quality CT examinations and coordinating with physician orders. Examinations must be protocolled according to established guidelines. Patients must be assessed for safety and cooperation prior to studies. Education and addressing patient concerns are part of the role. Proficiency in picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) is required. Successful graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology is essential. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of required education. The technologist should comply with all regulatory requirements. Knowledge of safety practices regarding venipuncture and medication administration is essential.
