Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Rehabilitation - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an acute inpatient rehab position in California requiring current CA licensure, BLS, and recent travel nurse experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in an acute inpatient rehab unit - Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 - May be required to float to other facilities within a 75 mile radius - Care for patients with neuro, stroke, and general med/surg rehab needs - Responsible for delivering inpatient rehabilitation care, including for neuro and stroke populations - Must be willing to float to any department, unit, or qualified facility as needed - Adherence to facility floating and reassignment policies is required /n /n Requirements/n - Active CA RN license required - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required - Minimum 2 years of recent med/surg nursing experience required - Recent travel nursing experience within the past 12 months required - COVID-19 vaccination and booster required - Acute inpatient rehab and neuro/stroke unit experience strongly preferred - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred - Prior experience in a teaching hospital preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-660692.
