Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A healthcare professional with expertise in
interventional radiology imaging is needed to support complex
diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional
procedures. This travel opportunity offers a chance to work closely
alongside specialty proceduralists, providing critical assistance
in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities: Assist
proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional
vascular and neuro-interventional cases, scrubbing side by side.
Operate and demonstrate strong knowledge of floor and ceiling
mounted fluoroscopic modality machines. Identify, retrieve, and
circulate complex products during interventional procedures.
Critically think and assist proceduralists during
neuro-interventional and complex cases. Operate power injection
devices for iodinated contrast media during diagnostic and
interventional procedures. Maintain sterile technique and infection
prevention measures while setting up procedural trays. Collaborate
effectively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses,
radiologists, and vascular surgeons. Document accurately in the
electronic medical record system and send images to PACS. Manage
groin care post-intervention. Provide high-quality patient care in
a dynamic environment. Qualifications: Current ARRT certification
with NJ state radiographic licensure required. 3-5 years of
experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or
Cardiovascular Technologist with radiographic licensure. BLS
certification from an approved American Heart Association or
equivalent program. Strong communication skills, including
proficiency in closed-loop communication. Prior experience
operating x-ray fluoroscopic modalities is essential. Location
