Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Vallejo,
California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU -
Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/14/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work
in Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and
eICU (Electronic Intensive Care Unit) • Maintain 2:1 patient ratio
for days, nights, and weekends • Every other weekend required •
12-hour orientation provided • Care for adult patients in 12-bed
ICU with daily census of 8 • 2 years of ICU experience required •
Travel experience required • Epic charting system experience
preferred • Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS,
NIHSS (must be AHA or American Red Cross) • Skills include:
management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure,
IV insulin protocols, arterial line management, blood product
administration, central line care, PICC line management, continuous
IV paralytics/sedation, emergency medications, titrating cardiac
and vasoactive drips, CVA/stroke management, ventilated patient
care, BiPAP/CPAP management, wound care with drains/wound vacs •
Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • Two
references from within the last year required • 7-year work history
verification required • Only one holiday time off will be approved
• Must meet 50-mile travel requirement • Background check

providing critical care services for adult patients. The facility
offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy,
respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy,
radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The ICU maintains
advanced technology capabilities including eICU (Electronic
Intensive Care Unit) systems and uses Epic charting throughout the
facility for comprehensive patient care documentation. Location:
Vallejo, CA Vallejo offers an ideal location in the San Francisco
Bay Area with easy access to both San Francisco and Sacramento,
providing urban amenities while maintaining a more affordable cost
