Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Carmichael, CA Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) 14 Week Contract Location: Carmichael, California Setting: Rehabilitation / Therapeutic Services Contract Length: 14 Weeks Start Date: March 23, 2026 End Date: June 22, 2026 Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week Estimated Pay Rate: $38 $45 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to assist in delivering rehabilitative therapy to patients. The COTA works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and help patients improve daily living and functional skills. Key Responsibilities Assist in patient evaluations and therapy sessions Implement individualized treatment plans developed by OTs Provide therapeutic exercises to improve patient function Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising OT Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes Support patient independence and functional performance Follow safety and infection control protocols
