Description: The Interventional Radiology Nurse performs diagnostic
radiographic procedures. This role includes providing technical
support for interventional radiographic examinations. The nurse is
responsible for assessing patient conditions and operating imaging
equipment. Maintaining imaging equipment is also a key
responsibility. The nurse will perform radiographic exams on
patients. Producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs is
essential. The nurse may rotate through advanced areas of
diagnostic radiology. The patient ratio is 3:1 for step-down care
and 4:1 for telemetry. All nurse responsibilities for patient care
are carried out by nursing staff, not by support staff. Travelers
will report to the designated location on their start date at 7:00
