(United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care job. The
Manager, Data Analytics will play a key role in shaping and
executing Stanford Health Care’s data strategy and analytics
development for Digital Health initiatives. This role leads the
creation of program metrics and insights, manages vendor data
partnerships, and owns and oversees the team’s data logic, and
workflows to ensure data is reliable, well-documented, and scalable
across new and evolving Digital Health programs. The work often
involves building reporting solutions where none previously
existed, requiring comfort with ambiguity and the ability to
translate incomplete or evolving program needs into clear,
actionable analytical solutions. The ideal candidate has strong
expertise in complex SQL and Tableau, and a demonstrated ability to
deliver high-impact analytics products that support executive-level
decision-making. A Brief Overview Manages a team of Data Analysts
engaged in analyzing complex data structures to generate business
insights and to track and improve operating efficiency, costs and
service goals. Develops reports to monitor business critical
results. Responsible for conducting User Acceptance Test for
Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Works with various business
functions to identify data mining needs and provide required data
solution / analysis. Provides expert advice to various business
units for data consultation, gathering and analysis. Manages
projects, including training planning and Enterprise Data
Warehousing planning that involve multiple functional areas within
the enterprise and will responsible for ensuring timely project
schedules, establishing milestones, budgets, and outcomes.

Business Analysts certification program and cultivates an empowered
environment for the Business Analysts. Builds working relationships
across business units to advance the Analytics initiatives.
Conducts training and user acceptance testing of Cognos/EDW
deployment. Delivers enterprise reports, metrics, and dashboards
that are not within the scope of a business unit. Develops
department operational plans and goals to support business and
organization wide Analytics initiatives. Participates with senior
management in developing budgets, resource allocation, operational
policies and other departmental decision making processes. Drives
new data requirements and usage, and test strategy. Facilitates
discussions on nomenclature inconsistencies and drives consensus to
support the Data Governance activities Hires, trains, coaches,
counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports. Manages,
participates and coordinates the development and implementation of
new/revised processes and procedures, such as developing new
programming standards or guidelines. Meets monthly with business
units to discuss issues, concerns, areas for improvements, shares
information and best practices. Provides expert advice on Analytics
to the business units, e.g., development and deployment of reports,
dashboards, metrics, and queries. Works with vendors to improve
products / tools based on user requirements and determines tools
upgrade schedule. Education Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a
work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or
university Experience Qualifications Seven (7) years of
progressively responsible and directly related work experience

starting at $79.21 - $104.97 per hour The salary of the finalist
selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors,
including but not limited to, internal equity, experience,
education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise
of a particular wage.
