Job Description:
As an Architect, you will help drive innovative solutions for
our rapidly growing suite of platform components and services which
power Akamais Infrastructure security offerings. As an Architect,
you will be responsible for: • Creating end-to-end architectural
designs, focusing on meeting defined objectives around
availability, reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborating with development teams to implement designs. •
Socializing and building consensus around architectural decisions
to provide stable and secure platforms. • Designing solutions for
software and configuration deployments, database, control plane,
and security. Do what you love To be successful in this role you
will: • Have 8 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in
Computer Science or its equivalent. • Demonstrate good
understanding of architectural principles, such as scaling,
reliability, performance, security, and their implementations. •
Have understanding of Internet layer 3 and 4 technologies DDOS
attacks, including attack vectors and mitigations. • Can analyze
and prototype new auto mitigation algorithms. • Have programming
(e.g,. Perl, Python, JS, Java, GO, eBPF) skills to help prototype
new product ideas and concepts. • Possess knowledge of utilizing DB
(Clickhouse) technologies to test new algorithms on stored historic
