Sysco, a global leader in the food service industry, is seeking a dedicated Local Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting food products from distribution centers to customer locations within local routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the integrity of Sysco's quality service standards. You will play a crucial role in directly impacting our success by delivering products that enable culinary and business operations across a variety of establishments. Safely operate a Class A truck within the local area according to all federal, state, and local regulations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any issues or safety concerns. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all goods are secured properly according to safety guidelines. Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, times, and signatures with provided technology tools. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries without compromising safety. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients professionally. Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of the delivery truck and associated equipment. Strong ability to maneuver and control the truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Excellent time management skills to handle scheduled deliveries efficiently Good physical stamina for frequent loading and unloading of goods Attention to detail for completing paperwork and monitoring delivery details Clear verbal and written communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
