Job Description OVERVIEW: The Property Assistant (PA) executed a number of program functions that support Program participants to pursue long-term goals while in the Program by providing many direct, hands-on services for Program Participants including consistent meals, bedding, information distribution, and problem solving. The position also provides assistance to the Unity Care case management staff by facilitating case management engagement with Participants that can include relaying information between Participants and case management staff when Participants do not have other means of communication; distributing housing, employment, and services information to participants; and helping to ensure Participant compliance with Program rules and objectives.

DIRECT REPORTS: None QUALIFICATIONS : At least one year of experience executing direct, hands-on services in a social work setting Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a social work setting, including working collaboratively with partner organizations as well as UC staff.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with little supervision Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills High School Diploma or equivalent Must be mature and responsible; ability to demonstrate good judgment Ability to use electronic office equipment and MS Office Suite (MS Word and MS Excel) and email. PREFERRED : Demonstrated ability to work with adults with mental illness, substance use disorder, healthcare challenges, and limited access to resources.
Use of a data management system or database to record service delivery information RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to): 1. Distribute Participant Meals on Wheels (MOW) meals and supplements daily and complete reporting documentation for the MOW Program 2. Distribute Participant towels and linens weekly. 3. Distribute Program literature to Participants as necessary 4. Prepare and distribute Participant Welcome Bags as requested 5. Update Participant and Vehicle Storage rosters and distribute to Program service partner organizations 6. Update work order list and distribute to Program staff 7. Escort pest control practitioner to individual Participant units. 8. Program Participant unit/room keys as requested 9. Record PRK Program rule violations by Program Participants 10. Responsible for completing Program documentation, notes and paperwork in a timely manner. 11. Responsible for inputting relevant data into UCs data management system, AWARDS. 12. Attend required trainings and meetings as directed. 13. Other duties as assigned. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. 4. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 5. The employee may be required to make and/or receive physical contact in the process of delivering First Aid/CPR or in training for those methods. 6. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 7. Ability to get CPR and First Aid certificate within 30 days of start date, and maintain a current certificate 8. Must clear a Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background check including fingerprinting before start date and maintain clearance 9. Must clear a health screening, including TB before start date and maintain clearance 10. Must be able to drive, have a valid drivers license, clean driving record and maintain a clean driving record. 11. Meet and maintain the minimum vehicle liability and property insurance limits. 12.
