Overview:The Radiologic Technologist performs general radiology
procedures and procedures quality diagnostic radiographs. The
incumbent processes films, prepares records of service performed,
makes adjustments to equipment, reports any malfunctioning
equipment to their Supervisor, transports patients to and from the
department. The incumbent works efficiently to maintain scheduled
patient appointments and unscheduled patient exams. The incumbent
ensures effective communications/documentation. The incumbent works
with high risk and critically ill patients. The incumbent serves
neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
The incumbent instructs and directs students from the Radiologic
Technology Program at SRJC during their clinical rotation at Sutter
Santa Rosa Regional Hospital.Job Description:EDUCATIONEquivalent
experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or
diploma.Other: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic
Technologist ProgramAssociate's: Health Science or equivalent
education/experienceCERTIFICATION & LICENSURECRT-Certified
Radiologic TechnologistARRT - Radiography - American Register of
Radiologic TechnologistsRHF-Radiology FluoroscopyBLS-Basic Life
Support Healthcare Provider within 30 Days of hirePREFERRED
EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Two years as a Radiologic
Technologist in an acute care hospital is desired.SKILLS AND
KNOWLEDGEA complete understanding of technical principles,
policies, and procedures is required in general diagnostic
radiography to include trauma radiography, routine fluoroscopy,
pediatric radiography, surgical radiography, portable
radiography.Radiation safety/protection.Current hospital policies
and procedures.Ability to perform diagnostic imaging examinations
with a high level of skill, accuracy, compassion, and tact, to
maintain records accurately, to follow verbal and written
instructions of technical nature, to establish and maintain
effective working relationships with others.Understands the
concepts of:Continuous Quality lmprovementQuality ControlMSDS
ProgramInfection ControlThe ability to establish and maintain
effective working relationships with other staff members of the
diagnostic imaging department, staff members of other departments,
and medical staff.The ability to deal with patients from a wide
range of socioeconomic backgrounds in a effective and respectful
manner.The ability to perform numerous duties at a given
time.Ability to perform radiologic and diagnostic imaging
examinations with skill, accuracy, compassion, and tact, to
maintain records accurately, to follow verbal and written
instructions of technical nature.Computer Skills-Basic
word-processing skills.Maintains a positive attitude.Understands
basic statistical methods:Able to adjust in a positive manner to
changes in work schedules and assignments based on the needs of the
department.Capable of effectively utilizing the Hospital
Information System;Demonstrated ability to work independently with
a minimal amount of supervision.Good communication skills (both

team or committee.Good organizational skills.Demonstrates positive

customers.Advocates for the customer.Pay Range: $48.57 -
$60.38/hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below
the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been
adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by
area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into
account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's
experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications,
department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is
just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter
