Job Description:
OverviewPurpose:The primary purpose of this role is to support
the Therapists/RBTs and clients by filling in for missing team
members, thereby reducing non-billable hours due to grouping or
credentialing issues. This individual will also assist the BCBAs as
a team leader for clients, serving as a resource for
Therapists/RBTs.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct ABA therapy prescribed by a Board-Certified Behavioral
Analyst, with the highest fidelity across all client levels and
abilities.
- Serve as a back-up where appropriate, filling in for CA/ACA,
COM when out, and assisting BCBA, CA/ACA, and COM, allowing
Leadership to focus on other tasks.
- Act as Team Leader for a group of clients.
- Respond to challenging behaviors when BCBA and COM are
unavailable.
- Support BCBA with client program updates and material
preparation.
- Organize center toys and materials, remove broken toys, and
report safety concerns such as broken toys, furniture issues, or
holes in walls to CA.ScheduleCoordination of session flow: May
advise the Therapist/RBT on session flow and assist in executing
client-specific navigation within the center. This includes
scheduling activities like circle time, gross motor room usage,
snack/lunch, and group activities.Facilities Management
- Organization: Responsible for organizing therapy rooms, toys,
and client materials appropriate to age. Everyone in the center
contributes to overall organization.
- Safety Checks: Conduct weekly safety walkthroughs, report
concerns to CA/ACA, including broken toys, property destruction, or
unsafe equipment. CA may assist with safety checks and scheduling
repairs based on SRBT reports.Parent Communication
- Customer Service: Contribute to a positive customer experience
through daily interactions with parents, modeling effective
communication to Therapists/RBTs.Clinical Quality
- LEARN Tree: Assist with updating client programming under BCBA
guidance and programming directions.
- Plan Updates: Support updates through client observations,
re-assessments, and initial assessments, including material
preparation and assisting with assessments alongside
BCBA.RBT/Therapists: Contribute or serve as backup for new hire
introductions, training, daily note quality checks.Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
- RBT V certification.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and implement new skills and work
collaboratively.
- Perform other duties as assigned; duties may be added or
removed as needed.
