Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Network Security Specialist to support the SOC/NOC team. This role combines network management expertise with a focus on security operations. The successful candidate will oversee firewall management, network troubleshooting, and incident response, with a specific emphasis on FortiGate firewall systems and related network technologies.Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, troubleshoot complex network environment from scratch.
• Manage and maintain FortiGate firewalls, including configuration, updates, and optimization.
• Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure system efficiency.
• Respond to security incidents, collaborating with the SOC team to mitigate threats.
• Respond to network incidents in a timely manner to maintain high SLA.
• Conduct network assessments and recommend improvements to bolster security posture.
• Implement and manage high availability (HA) protocols and network configurations.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP).
• Establish and troubleshoot network tunneling protocols like IPSec and SSLVPN.
• Document network configurations and security processes for internal use.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and cross-functional teams.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in network security and management, including firewall administration.
• Expertise with FortiGate firewalls and NGFW systems.
• Proficiency in network protocols and tools, including SNMP, Syslog, and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Experience with Layer 2/3 technologies and high-availability setups.
• Knowledge of network automation and SDN is a plus.
• Certifications such as CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE 4 (or higher) are preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $94,100- $121,800. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at the time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
