Job Description:
MindPath Care Centers, a branch of Community Psychiatry, is
seeking either an Outpatient Psychiatrist or a Psychiatric Mental
Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dedicated team.
Located in a community-based outpatient setting, we concentrate on
delivering exceptional mental health services tailored to
individual needs through both therapy and medication management.
The role involves diagnosing and treating various mental health
conditions, providing patient-focused care, and collaborating with
therapists, primary care physicians, and other specialists to
ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Conducting comprehensive
psychiatric evaluations, including biopsychosocial assessments, to
develop tailored treatment plans. Prescribing and managing
psychotropic medications, monitoring responses, side effects, and
making necessary adjustments. Providing ongoing psychotherapy and
cognitive-behavioral treatments as needed. Participating in
multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care.
Keeping accurate and timely records of all patient interactions
following regulatory standards and guidelines. Offering guidance
and education to patients and their families regarding mental
health conditions and treatments. Participating in continuous
education activities to maintain and enhance clinical competencies.
Expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.
Strong background in psychopharmacology. Ability to provide
compassionate and effective patient-centred care. Proven
interpersonal communication skills for interacting with diverse
patient populations. Skill in using electronic health record (EHR)
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Board Certified in Psychiatry or Board Eligible for
recent graduates (for Psychiatrists). Current state licensure as a
Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner. PMHNP certification (for Nurse
Practitioners).
